Privacy
slam-voting.com takes the protection of your data seriously. Here you find the key points at a glance.
What Data Is Stored?
- Account data: email address, name, password (encrypted), language setting
- Team data: team name, slug, logo, memberships, roles
- Competition data: competitions, rounds, performers, scores, results
- Supporter data: subscription status, payment information (stored at Mollie, not with us)
- Feedback data: tickets, messages, feature ideas
Error Tracking
slam-voting.com uses GlitchTip for technical error tracking, self-hosted on our own server in the EU, with no sharing to third parties. Client-side errors are only collected with your explicit consent (cookie banner). IP addresses are removed server-side, and error events are deleted automatically after 90 days. Details about what data is collected during an error can be found in the privacy policy.
You can adjust your cookie settings at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
How Long Is Data Stored?
Your account and competition data is stored for as long as your account is active, it is not automatically deleted after a set period. Scores and results are retained even after an event is finished so you can access them at any time. Technical logs, by contrast, are stored only briefly: server logs on a rolling basis, error events for a maximum of 90 days. Details are in the data retention concept.
Delete Your Account
You can delete your account at any time. The deletion includes:
- Your personal data (name, email, settings)
- Your team memberships
- Teams where you are the sole owner (including all competition data)
- Your feedback tickets and messages
- Your comments and votes on feature ideas
Important: Feature ideas you submitted are anonymized (not deleted) so the roadmap remains consistent, your name is removed. Your comments and votes on ideas, however, are deleted entirely. Supporter billing records are retained in anonymized form where tax-law retention periods require it.
If you are the owner of a team with multiple members, you must first transfer ownership before you can delete your account.
