Display Branding
With an active Supporter subscription, you can fully customize the look of the live display to match your event style. All settings are found under Team Settings > Display Settings.
Background Image
You can upload a background image that is shown on selected display screens.
Two Levels
- Team level: the image applies as the default for all competitions in your team
- Competition level: optionally, you can upload a separate image per competition that overrides the team image
Screen Selection
Using checkboxes, you select which screens show the background image:
| Screen | Background | Overlay (darkening) |
|---|---|---|
| Title | Optional | Yes |
| Break | Optional | No |
| Winner | Optional | Yes |
| Final Overall Ranking | Optional | Yes |
| Background Only | Always | No (pure image) |
Overlay Opacity
On screens with lots of text, the system places a semi-transparent darkening layer over the image to keep the text readable. You can adjust the intensity with a slider (0 to 100%, default: 60%).
Dark Mode
Optionally, you can upload a separate image for dark mode. If none is provided, the default image is used.
Upload Notes
- Max. 5 MB per image
- Images are automatically resized to max. 1920px width and converted to WebP format
- The optimization runs in the browser before the image is uploaded
Custom Colors
You can define custom colors for the display, separately for light mode and dark mode. This lets you match the display to your corporate design or event branding.
Fonts
By default, the display uses the system font. As a Supporter, you can choose from a selection of standard fonts or add any Google Font.
Google Fonts are hosted GDPR-compliantly on our own servers. No data is sent to Google when audience members open the display.
Font Size Presets
Three presets for text size on the display:
- Small (85%): for displays with a lot of content
- Normal (100%): default
- Large (120%): for large projector setups or viewing from a distance
Score Display
You can configure how scores are shown:
- Decimal places: 0, 1, or 2 decimal places
- Separator: comma (7,4) or period (7.4)
Animations
- Confetti: animated confetti effect during the winner reveal and the final overall ranking
- Fade transitions: smooth fade-in effects when switching between screens
Both options can be enabled separately via toggle.
Additional Options
- Hide branding: removes the "slam-voting.com" footer from the display
- Square corners: switches from rounded to square container corners
- Screen content: configure per screen which elements are visible (logo, competition name, team name, headings, winner label, sponsor text)
